Group Learning

Learning in a group is a fun way to meet and socialize with like-minded people. Groups have less than 7 students to maximize the learning efficiency of the class and interaction between students.

This set up works well for different types of groups:

"My son has been learning French with Myriam since he was six years old and loves his time with her. She has a wonderful calming manner with him and helps him stay focused.

Myriam very much tailors her lessons to meet his needs and is so encouraging and enthusiastic. He is learning through play and tells me about the games and songs he has learnt and shows me his colouring and word searches."

Children

These cover a variety of basic knowledge such as presenting yourself, colours and shapes, animals, the human body, school material, giving your opinion on likes and dislikes, and grammar points to introduce genders of nouns, articles and adjectives.

"Myriam has been tutoring my daughter for some months now.

She is patient, supportive and very professional. My daughter scored very high marks in her recent GCSE exams and Myriam gave her a lot of confidence to get through it.

I recommend Myriam and would continue to have her as our tutor. Thank you very much."

"Lessons with Myriam were both well prepared and personalised, which made them enjoyable whilst also improving my French.

She was able to help me with all areas of my course in a very patient and encouraging way which really boosted my confidence and understanding of the language.

Adults

You're never too young or too old to learn a new skill, and French could be the perfect one to pick, especially if you love the French culture, country, food and wine! You will learn the necessary topics to get you by while travelling in France or other French-speaking countries.

Our current French groups for beginners/intermediate are taking place on Friday mornings at Oru Spaces Sutton:

-French Learning Group 8:55am-9:55am

-French Conversation Club 10am-11am

"I attend a weekly adult class and it's something I really look forward to. Myriam really varies the classes and focuses on all aspects of learning , with particular emphasis on conversational skills.

I feel I am regaining my confidence after 20 years of not speaking French and I would highly recommend for beginners/intermediate or for anyone out of practice."
